This site is being offered as a resource for same-sex couples living in Iowa wishing to marry and same-sex couples living elsewhere who would like to get married in Iowa. In addition, heterosexual transgenendered persons who have not yet been successful in negotiationg the long, expensive, frustrating process of having their new gender recognized legally will also be able to marry in Iowa and have that traditional heterosexual wedding they may have dreamed of. It is our hope that some of those living elsewhere might feel welcome enough to consider moving to our great state.
